FAQ
What can Homeopathy help with?
What is the process like?
KATHLEEN SCHEIBLECCH (she/her/hers)
Homeopathy is very personalized care. Ensuring you get the best possible results requires careful listening and observation skills. Deep listening is a skill I’ve cultivated since I was young. As the process of healing unfolds, I honor your feedback as an integral and essential part of your health care.
Though I had a very fulfilling career as a mechanical engineer in the semiconductor equipment business, I began studying homeopathy and knew I would practice it someday after homeopathy radically improved the health of my son and step-son.
Bernal Heights is my neighborhood in San Francisco, and I have a general practice in this urban village (and online).
I specialize in helping people heal from physical, emotional, and trans-generational trauma in the many ways that people can experience its after-effects. This includes chronic cognition and memory issues, depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, headaches and other pain especially after a head injury / traumatic brain injury (TBI).
To learn more about homeopathy for trans-generational trauma, I recommend this article I co-authored with three homeopath colleagues, and my blog.
I am also happy to help people reduce their susceptibility to non-trauma related chronic symptoms including auto-immune conditions, hormonal imbalance, anxiety, insomnia, headaches, digestive disorders, skin conditions, and ADD/ADHD & OCD and many other conditions.
I have practiced homeopathy since 2005. I graduated from the Pacific Academy of Homeopathy in San Francisco, and have been awarded the designation Certified Classical Homeopath by the Council for Homeopathic Certification, and so am Board Certified in Classical Homeopathy, the highest available certification for homeopaths in the U.S. My interest in homeopathy was sparked when I was so impressed by what it did for my kids’ health. My son had chronic glue ear after many rounds of antibiotics for ear infections as a baby, and then suddenly developed asthma and eczema as well. We had tried the steroid creams, inhaler, and anti-mucous medications which did not help very much, and I was beginning to wonder if all of the medications were adding to his susceptibility. Within a month of visiting a homeopath and taking two doses of a remedy she selected specifically for him, all three things were much better. My wife then took my step-son to see the homeopath, as he had been out of school for six months suffering from chronic migraine headaches and debilitating nausea after contracting viral spinal meningitis. Within three days, all of his symptoms were gone, and he was back in school, with good energy and good health. Both kids enjoyed much better energy and emotional health after their homeopathic treatment. Now I know that with homeopathic care, the restoration of a person's "vital force" is what results in improved emotional and physical health, rather than suppression of symptoms. Volunteer and Mutual Aid Work After the Camp Fire in Paradise, California in 2018 I have volunteered my homeopathic services as well as my time as an "Ambassador" for homeopath volunteers with the Integrative Healers Action Network. IHAN is an intrepid and ground-breaking non-profit providing integrative health services to people effected by disasters such as the California wildfires, in partnership with the Red Cross, including first responders. This work has greatly revealed to me the urgency and potential for an integrative, collaborative team care approach for people in trauma, as well as for those with chronic complex trauma, who are experiencing a wide range of limitations in their health and spirit. The capacity for human resilience is amazing, and I'm humbled and gratified to be a part of this model of care.
"My overall health and emotional wellbeing is so very improved, I can't begin to explain it in a review. Moving forward, I will consult Kathleen for any ailment I have. She is a very gifted practitioner."
Bernal Homeopathy is co-located in a dynamic office of healers from East-West Integrative Medicine and several other independent health businesses.

EPISODE HIGHLIGHTS
In this episode we discuss Kathleen's homeopathic origin story and how she went from being an engineer to a classical homeopath.
We discuss how we can bring homeopathy to a larger population and serve our communities at a local and national level. We highlight the efficacy of homeopathy in treating trauma - both acute trauma and chronic trauma - and how the nervous system plays a role in care. We also touch on how homeopathy can meet the person where they are at. There are so many issues that homeopathy can effectively address from acute shock, to ear infections, to depression and anxiety, to chronic conditions such as autoimmunity, GERD, and chronic pain.
The take away from this episode, though, is that there is always hope and that the human spirit is incredibly resilient. No matter what challenges lie before us, there are supportive tools that we can reach for that aid in our growth and evolution and strengthen our resolve.
